Find your people, then go and meet them
Every other social product is built to keep you posting. This one is built to get you into a building on Sunday with people who know your name.
Anonymous by default
You show up as a DudeTag. Dude4821, Dude9930. That's all anyone sees.
Real names and usernames are never shown to other members. Email addresses, phone numbers and social handles get stripped out of posts automatically, because the fastest way to wreck a Christian forum is to let it become a place where people get contacted.
The anonymity isn't for hiding. It's so a deacon of twenty years can admit what he's actually struggling with without it going round his congregation by Wednesday.
Forums
Prayer, marriage, parenting, doubt, grief, recovery, apologetics, prophecy, singleness. Threaded, moderated, and quiet on purpose.
Prayer wall
Post a request and have strangers pray for you. Mark it answered when it is, and let the next person read that.
Testimony
What God actually did, written by the person it happened to. Most-read section, every time.
Rooms
Live text rooms by subject. Same rules: no contact details, no cruelty, no recruiting.
Moderated by something that doesn't sleep
Small Christian communities die two ways. Nobody moderates and it turns poisonous, or one exhausted volunteer moderates until they burn out and leave.
Here every post gets screened before it lands. For contact-sharing. For grooming patterns. For cruelty dressed up as concern. For the particular kind of spiritual bullying that uses scripture as a weapon. Anything flagged goes to a human.
The point isn't to sanitise disagreement. People argue about baptism and the end times here and that's fine. The point is to keep it safe enough that somebody will say the true thing.
Finding a church near you
The church finder is what everything else points at.
Search your area, see what's actually near you, and get what you need to walk in on Sunday. You can also find what sits around a church: Bible studies, men's and women's groups, student groups, recovery meetings, and other believers nearby who've chosen to be findable.
If you haven't been in years, or ever, ask one of them what to expect. An honest answer to "what do I wear" and "will I have to talk to anyone" removes more barriers than any feature on this page.
A community that tells you to leave it
Worth saying plainly, because it's unusual.
There's no feed to scroll. No follower count. No streak for posting. No notification engineered to pull you back. Post something and an adviser is as likely to ask whether you've told a real person as to keep the thread going.
Whether this worked isn't measured by how much you posted. It's measured by whether you ended up in a room with other Christians in it.
Safe for the whole house
Teenagers use this. Community features are screened accordingly and parents get oversight. The detail is on the family safety page, including predator flagging and exactly what parents can and can't see.
Free to start
Forums, prayer wall and church finder are all on the free plan. 600 messages a month, no card. Pricing covers the rest.
Common questions
Are the community features anonymous?
Yes. You appear under a DudeTag such as Dude4821. Real names and usernames are never shown to other members, and contact details are stripped from posts automatically.
Does it help me find a church near me?
Yes — and that is the point of it. The whole community side exists to get you into a real building with real believers rather than to keep you posting.
Is Holy Dude free?
Yes. The free plan includes 600 messages a month with no credit card required. Paid plans start at $19.99 a month and can be cancelled at any time.
What makes this different from other AI chatbots?
Holy Dude is built around scripture and around getting you offline. The characters are open about being AI with no soul and no real feelings, and they actively push you toward your Bible, your church and real people rather than trying to keep you on the app.
Is it safe for children and teenagers?
Yes. Conversations are screened for self-harm, violence, predatory approaches and contact-sharing attempts, and flagged content is reviewed. There are no ads and your data is never sold.
One letter a week
Scripture with the context that changes what it means, one question answered honestly, and something worth doing before Sunday. No product news, and a working unsubscribe link on every issue.
